Description of Service
Breastfeeding advice and support available to mothers with an experienced Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). All breastfeeding concerns addressed.

How to get an appointment:
Antenatal and postnatal mothers, families residing within the Moorabool Shire, women who have been booked to birth at Bacchus Marsh Hospital (even if transferred), babies under 3 months of age, hospital employees.
Access hours are Tuesdays and Fridays 8.00am - 4.30pm
Cost of this is nil.
In addition to Western Health, a number of breastfeeding support services exist across the Western cluster region. Please consider which location is most appropriate for a patient when selecting a Breastfeeding Support service.
Referrals are accepted from General Practitioner's (GPs), Maternal Child Health Nurse (MCHN), Midwives and Self-Referrals via email: Katherine.Hayward@djhs.org.au or voicemail: 53679873.
