Triage of Referrals:

All referrals received at Western Health will be triaged by a clinician into one of the following time frames according to clinical requirements:

  1. Urgent
  2. Routine / Waitlist

Patients will be notified of the approximate waiting times via post if deemed Routine/Waitlist.

Should a patient that was discharged have a change in their condition and require re-referral they will be triaged as per the clinical indications on the referral.
