Counselling and Social work
Description of Service:
The Counselling and Social Work services at Western Health work within the Community Health Space. The team supports people in the Melton and Bacchus Marsh community who are having difficulties with a range of presenting issues. For example - depression, anxiety, health-related stress, isolation, carer's stress, grief and loss, family issues and elder abuse. We offer counselling and case management services.
This service is for adults only.
Adults between 18 and 24 are encouraged to contact Headspace Melton at (03) 8065 5600, if they are interested in Counselling support.

- Melton Health and Community Services (Yellow Building)
- Melton Health and Community Services (Green Building)
- Bacchus Marsh Community Health Centre
- Caroline Springs Community Health Centre
Hours of Operation:
- Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00 pm
Fees for the service:
Fees for this service may apply, dependent on the circumstances of each client, however it is a free service for most people.
Referrals and Further Information:
To access counselling/social work services, please call - 0397477609, 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. Please be aware that there can be a waitlist Referrals can also be made by other professionals, for example- your GP. If your GP would like to make a referral, they can call 0397477609, or fax to 0387462072. This is an appointment only service.
