Breastfeeding Support Services
Description of Service
Breastfeeding support is available for mothers experiencing any difficulties during their breastfeeding journey with an experienced Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). The service is available for women that have birthed at Western Health up until six (6) weeks of age.
Antenatal breastfeeding support classes are also available for Mothers wishing to learn about breastfeeding or Mothers who have previous breastfeeding concerns.

How to get an appointment:
Referrals are accepted from General Practitioner's (GPs), Maternal Child Health Nurse (MCHN), Midwives and Self-Referrals via email: info@djhs.org.au (Subject Heading Attention: Breastfeeding services) or voicemail: 53679873.
Antenatal breastfeeding classes may be arranged through the receptionist at your Antenatal clinic appointments
