Service Description
Following the birth of your baby and discharge home, one of our Midwifery team will arrange to visit you to support the transition into parenthood with your new baby.
The Domiciliary service monitors the wellbeing of both mother and baby in the initial week following the birth.

Eligibility
All Mothers who have birthed at Bacchus Marsh Hospital will be offered domiciliary support.
The service is also available to women who have birthed at other Health services but reside within the Moorabool or Melton Shire. A referral may be arranged by the booking hospital.

- Midwives will arrange domiciliary care for women following birth, during the postnatal stay
- via fax/telephone from other areas
